Campaign modes

Choose the outreach path that matches the lead.

Use connection campaigns to start a relationship, Sales Navigator InMail for eligible priority contacts, or Open Profile InMail for candidates and hiring managers who allow direct messages.

Connection requests

BriskReach sends a LinkedIn invite first, then a follow-up once the lead accepts. It is the default path for most cold lists.

What it is

Sends a connection invite with an optional note, then an automatic follow-up once the lead accepts. Leave the follow-up blank to run an invite-only campaign. Follow-ups support {first_name}, {company}, and {headline}, so each message reads as written for that person.

When to use it

Broad cold prospectingFounder-led outreachRecruiter outreachAny list where connecting is the goal

Keep the invite note light and let the follow-up carry the context. Leads you are already connected to skip straight to the follow-up step.

How it works

  1. 1

    Send invite

Optional note, up to 200 characters.

  2. 2

    Wait for accept

    LinkedIn confirms the connection.

  3. 3

    Record connection

    Logged to the lead timeline.

  4. 4

    Follow up

Up to 2,000 characters, on your delay.

Requirements

  • An active, connected sender account
  • One selected lead list
  • Available invite capacity
  • Available on every plan, including Trial

Good to know

Invites start low and ramp up over the warmup window to stay inside LinkedIn safe sending limits. Pause or edit any step without losing the leads already in flight.

Sales Navigator InMail

Direct outreach for paid workspaces with Sales Navigator-ready senders. It reaches out-of-network leads in one step instead of waiting on an accepted invite.

What it is

Sends one message with a required subject and body to eligible out-of-network leads. It runs on a separate InMail capacity track and balance, so it does not touch your invite or regular message limits. There is no invite step and no acceptance wait.

When to use it

Named accountsSenior buyersOut-of-network leadsLists where invites get ignored

Use it for smaller, higher-value lists where a direct message is worth one InMail credit. It pairs well with connection campaigns: connect with the reachable leads and InMail the rest.

How it works

  1. 1

    Check readiness

Run Check InMail on the sender.

  2. 2

    Confirm balance

    InMail credits must be available.

  3. 3

    Assign eligible leads

    Untouched, resolvable leads only.

  4. 4

    Send InMail

    One subject and message body.

Requirements

  • A paid workspace
  • A sender that passed the InMail readiness check
  • Available InMail balance
  • Eligible, untouched leads

Good to know

Each send spends one InMail credit and works inside a separate daily cap per account, not the invite limit. Reply detection stays active, so automation stops for any lead who answers.

Open Profile InMail

A zero-credit way to reach prospects who allow messages from outside their network. BriskReach scans first, assigns only open profiles, and skips the rest.

What it is

An open profile is a LinkedIn member who lets anyone message them for free. This campaign scans your selected leads for that status, then sends one InMail with a subject and body only to the leads who qualify. It spends no Sales Navigator credits, invite limits, or regular message limits.

When to use it

Mixed lead listsFree reach layerAlongside connectionsSkip manual checking

Use it on a mixed list to capture the free direct-message opportunity without checking every profile by hand. It works well as a targeted layer next to a connection campaign.

How it works

  1. 1

    Scan leads

Check selected leads for open status.

  2. 2

    Assign open profiles

    Non-open leads stay unassigned.

  3. 3

    Auto-launch

Starts once a scan finds an open lead.

  4. 4

    Recheck and send

Fails safe if no longer open.

Requirements

  • A paid workspace
  • An InMail-ready LinkedIn account
  • Leads with LinkedIn profile URLs
  • Selected senders to scan with

Good to know

Before each send, BriskReach checks the lead again, and a no-longer-open profile fails safely instead of using a paid credit. It uses its own daily and rolling caps, separate from Sales Navigator InMail, and stops for any lead who replies.
