Pre-outreach activity

Give a newly connected account a defined activity phase before outreach.

Account Warmup is an optional seven-day phase that holds campaign sending while BriskReach schedules profile views and likes on recent posts from the account’s own network.

What account warmup does in BriskReach

Account Warmup is a separate, optional pre-outreach phase for a newly connected LinkedIn account. For seven calendar days, BriskReach holds campaign sends and schedules modest profile views and likes on recent posts from that account’s own network. Once the phase finishes, the account is released into the existing Daily caps & sending ramp. It is not a promise about account outcomes, and it is not a replacement for audience quality, thoughtful messaging, or the volume controls used after outreach begins.

What Account Warmup does

  • Holds campaign outreach while the opt-in phase is incomplete.
  • Runs for seven calendar days after the account profile precheck passes.
  • Uses profile views and recent-post likes from the account’s own network.
  • Applies working hours and shared activity spacing to planned actions.

Who this is for

Common teams and workflows where account warmup becomes useful.

A new account is connected before campaign launch

A user can opt into Account Warmup during connection. The account remains unavailable for campaign sends until its seven-day activity phase completes or the user explicitly skips it.

A team wants a clear boundary before sending

The phase uses only profile views and likes on recent posts from the account’s own connections. It does not send connection requests, follow-up messages, or InMail during the hold.

Example scenario

Example scenario: connect now, campaign later

A sales team connects a new sender and chooses Account Warmup. BriskReach confirms the profile has a photo and headline, then plans small amounts of network activity inside the sender’s working hours. Campaign sending stays held for seven calendar days. When the phase completes, the account can enter the normal Daily caps & sending ramp used for campaign outreach.

How BriskReach handles it

Product details, stored context, and limits that keep the workflow clear.

A separate phase from the sending ramp

Account Warmup happens before campaign outreach. Daily caps & sending ramp begins once campaign sending starts and controls the volume of invites and messages. The two features work in sequence, not as interchangeable labels.

  • Account Warmup holds campaign sends for a fixed seven-day calendar phase.
  • Daily caps & sending ramp controls campaign volume after outreach is allowed.
  • Both respect working hours and shared activity spacing.

What activity is included

During the phase, BriskReach uses profile views and likes on recent posts from the connected account’s own network. It does not automate follows, incoming invitation acceptance, comments, home-feed actions, or campaign messages as part of Account Warmup.

  • Profile views use already selected profile targets.
  • Network likes only consider recent posts from connections.
  • Every action remains subject to spacing, working-hour, and account-readiness checks.

Controls remain visible

The Accounts page shows whether Account Warmup is pending, active, complete, or skipped. Users can skip an in-progress phase, while a completed or grandfathered account does not restart automatically.

  • A profile photo and headline are required before the phase starts.
  • The hold releases automatically after seven calendar days, even if activity was limited.
  • Restriction or disconnection does not convert a held account into an eligible campaign sender.

Where it fits in the workflow

Where it fits

  1. 1Connect a new LinkedIn account and select Account Warmup.
  2. 2Complete the profile precheck for a photo and headline.
  3. 3Run the seven-day pre-outreach activity phase while sending is held.
  4. 4Release into Daily caps & sending ramp when the phase completes or is skipped.
Safety and limits

Clear limits, no outcome promises

  • Account Warmup does not guarantee account standing, campaign results, or acceptance rates.
  • It does not replace careful list selection, message review, or configured campaign limits.
  • Profile views and network likes are the only V1 activities in this phase.
